Preparing for your Right Fit Meeting
We also encourage you to set up an account and complete our client questionnaire, so we can provide you the support that is tailored to your needs.
What is a Right Fit Meeting?
The Right Fit Meeting is a consultation designed to determine if our firm is the right match for your estate planning needs. It’s an opportunity for us to understand your situation and for you to ask questions about our services.
How long does the Right Fit Meeting last?
The meeting typically lasts about 30-45 minutes. This gives us enough time to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and explore whether our services align with your needs.
What should I bring to the Right Fit Meeting?
You don’t need to bring any documents to this initial meeting. However, before the meeting, we ask that you complete an online questionnaire and upload any existing estate planning documents you may have. We recommend bringing any questions or concerns you have about estate planning, as well as any general ideas about your goals for the future.
Is there a fee for the Right Fit Meeting?
The Right Fit Meeting is complimentary if you meet with our Client Relations Director. However, if you prefer to meet with an attorney for the Right Fit Meeting, there is a fee of $500. Please note that appointments with an attorney are typically scheduled several weeks later than those with our Client Relations Director due to the attorneys’ schedules.
What will we discuss during the meeting?
We’ll cover your general estate planning needs, your concerns, and what you’re hoping to achieve. The intention for our time together is to add value and clarity to your life, whether you decide to work with us or not. The best way we know how to do that is to learn more about you, your goals, as well as what you’re struggling with and what you are worried about. We’ll also discuss how our firm approaches estate planning and answer any questions you have about our process or fees.
Will I need to make any decisions during the meeting?
Many people decide to hire us during the Right Fit Meeting, but there is no pressure to make any decisions at that time. The goal is to be of service, provide you with information, and help you decide whether we’re the right firm to assist you in planning for your future.
What happens after the Right Fit Meeting?
If you decide to work with us, we will send you a representation agreement to officially hire us, along with an invoice for payment. Then, we will schedule a follow-up appointment to dive deeper into your estate planning needs and begin gathering the necessary information. If after the Right Fit Meeting we determine another solution might be better for you, we’ll provide recommendations to help you move forward.
How do I prepare for the Right Fit Meeting?
Before the meeting, please complete the online questionnaire and provide us with any existing estate planning documents you have. Additionally, think about your goals and any specific concerns you have about your estate. If you have a general idea of what you’d like to accomplish, that’s a great start. You can also write down any questions you might have so we can address them during our discussion.
How do I schedule a Right Fit Meeting?
You can schedule a Right Fit Meeting by calling our office, visiting our website, or emailing us directly. We’ll find a convenient time that works for you.
