Matthew S. Crider
Estate Planning Attorney
Matthew Crider is known for his approachable nature, earning him the compliment, “You’re too nice to be a lawyer!” He’s distinguished himself in the field of law, practicing in both Texas and California, where he is licensed. One of his cases even made it to the U.S. Supreme Court, only to be rescheduled for a slightly more pressing matter—Bush v. Gore. Go figure! (The Crider name has weight, but it’s not quite in the same league as Bush or Gore.)
What Matthew Does
Matthew loves his work at Crider Law Group because it requires forward-thinking and creativity to come up with the best possible solutions for his clients. He provides a wide range of estate planning and asset protection services, advising individuals and families how to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their financial assets. And he says there’s nothing more rewarding than helping people preserve their wealth through highly personalized and comprehensive estate planning.
He listens closely to his clients’ goals and concerns so he can help them leave what they have, to whom they want, when they want, and in the way that they want.
Matthew regularly works with individuals, couples, families, seniors, young families with minor children, families with special needs children of all ages, and business owners and entrepreneurs.
Matthew's Community Involvement
Matthew frequently speaks to public and private groups on issues of estate planning, elder law, veterans’ benefits, Medicaid and Medi-Cal planning, and special needs planning. He’s a member of WealthCounsel and ElderCounsel.
He’s also a member of Rotary International. In his spare time, Matthew loves to spend time with his wife and two children.
He’s an adventurous and active sort, who loves camping, skiing, and traveling.
