Explosion at Law Firm
The Wall Street Journal blog reported here that an explosion in a Georgia law office injured four people earlier today. The motive for the blast was not known.
Sometimes, particularly in family law, lawyers are targets for angry clients. This is a very real danger, although only a small percent of family law clients are actually prone to violence. There have been previous incidents of assault on family law attorneys, and even deaths. Many attorneys practicing family law take steps to protect themselves, but even the most cautious attorney may be targeted by an angry opposing party.
